These terms govern the use of Hermes Agent ("the application"), a private personal automation tool operated by its owner. By authorizing the application to access a Google account, the owner agrees to these terms.
Hermes Agent is a single-user assistant that runs on the owner's own computer and connects to that owner's Google account to assist with productivity tasks, including email triage, calendar management, document and spreadsheet editing, and file organization.
The application is for personal use by its owner only. It is not offered to the public, is not a commercial product, and provides no service to any third party. There is no registration process and no support commitment to anyone other than the owner.
The application relies on Google APIs and on large-language-model providers to generate responses. Use of those services is subject to their respective terms. Google's terms are available at policies.google.com/terms.
The application is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Outputs produced by an automated system may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed before being relied upon.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the application's owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to the use of the application.
Handling of Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with an effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
